Primary Care Q & A

What is primary care?

Primary care is generalized medical care from a primary care physician. Dr. Daya and his team offer patients comprehensive, personalized, advanced diagnostic testing and treatments. They provide a one-stop shop for all your health care needs so you can take care of your body, mind, and soul. They gladly accept same-day appointments.

Which primary care services are offered?

Dr. Daya and his team offer a wide array of preventive medicine, acute illness, and chronic disease treatments to help you maintain optimal health and peace of mind. Some of the services they offer include:

  • Osteopathic manipulation therapy
  • Disease screening and management
  • Men’s and women’s well visits and sick visits
  • Immigration, sports, school, and work physicals
  • Asthma and allergy testing
  • Sleep study testing
  • Bone density screening
  • Urgent care
  • Adult and geriatric medicine
  • In-house labs

If you have a sore throat, cough, flu, erectile dysfunction, diabetes, high blood pressure, or other acute or chronic health issue, Dr. Daya and his team are here for you. They diagnose your condition and offer the most effective, personalized treatment plans.

What can I expect during my appointment?

When you arrive at an appointment, Dr. Daya and his team review your medical history and symptoms and complete a physical exam. For a women’s wellness exam, your provider completes a pelvic exam and Pap smear to screen for cervical cancer.

They might also use onsite blood tests, imaging tests, bone density screenings, allergy or asthma tests, strep tests, and other diagnostic tools to determine which acute or chronic illness, if any, you have.

Will I require treatment?

You might require treatment after your primary care appointment. For wellness exams and physicals, treatment may not be necessary if you’re healthy, but Dr. Daya offers the flu shot and other vaccines for disease prevention.

If you have an illness or disease, he might recommend medicines, injections, or lifestyle changes. If you require a physical for immigration, work, sports, or school, Dr. Daya fills out the required forms. For severe medical problems, he refers you to qualified specialist in your area.

Be proactive about your health and prevent or manage illnesses and diseases before they become serious. Schedule an appointment with Airport Primary Care over the phone or online today.
